Welcome to The SPIRIT Consortium
The SPIRIT Consortium officially incorporated as an open,
independent, California non-profit organization in July 2006to
enable
rapid, reliable deployment of IP into advanced design
environments.
IP-XACT 1.4
from The SPIRIT Consortium - a New ESL-Based
Specification
The SPIRIT
Consortium’s new IP-XACT 1.4 specification
expands the range of IP that can be used in an IP-XACT Design
Environment and targets new applications, specifically those dealing
with transactional modeling and advanced verification
methodologies. By using an IP-XACT Design Environment, designers
can automatically create many different expressions of a design in a
consistent and correlated way.
IP-XACT 1.4 benefits include:
- Documentation
of all aspects of IP using XML databook format
- Documentation
of models in a quantifiable and language-independent
way
- Enables
designers to deploy specialist knowledge in their design
The new
specification also includes a tight generator interface (TGI), which
promotes portability of generators—program modules that process XML
data into meaningful data for a design.
Join The SPIRIT Consortium today to
participate in the ongoing development of IP-XACT and get access
to the proposed specifications up to six months earlier than the public
release date!
